Hugh Grant has been cast in the movie adaptation of 60s television show The Man From U.N.C.L.E. The Cloud Atlas star will have a supporting role in the spy film, according to The Hollywood Reporter. The 52-year-old joins Armie Hammer, Alicia Vikander and Henry Cavill in the adaptation of the TV series, which ran from 1964 to 1968.
Man Of Steel star Henry will play special agent Napoleon Solo who works for the United Network Command For Law Enforcement (U.N.C.L.E.), a role Tom Cruise was previously tipped for. Solo was originally portrayed by Robert Vaughn in the TV series. Lone Ranger star Armie will portray agent Illya Kuryakin and Anna Karenina actress Alicia has landed the female lead while Golden Globe winner Hugh has been cast as the head of British Naval Intelligence.
