ReplyDeleteThe fashion designer - whose gowns are popular with stars including Renee Zellweger and Cameron Diaz - admits she feels it is ''her fault'' if anyone wearing her creations ends up on a worst-dressed list.
She said: ''I think the red carpet is becoming too much - it's just for one second.
''But the stars I do dress, they have to look really good. It's not their fault if they don't look good, it's my fault - the fault of the designer.''
The Venezuelan-born designer also stressed her belief that all women should own a simple white shirt.
She told Vogue.co.uk: The white shirt is my favourite thing. It's fresh yet seductive - every woman always looks good in a white shirt.''
Carolina believes the secret to her successful fashion career is her willingness to change with the times.
She said: ''Everything moves, fashion moves - you have to move with it. You have to feel alive to design for a human - for a woman.''
